Sun-A LEE / SunadanSe

La chorégraphe coréenne Sun-A Lee explore les voies d’une chorégraphie de l’intime, à la lisière entre le mouvement et la musique, le cinéma, la matière ou le masque.

Diplômée en chorégraphie de l’Université nationale des arts de Corée (K-Arts, Séoul), elle remporte en 2007 le Prix de l’Ambassade de France au concours du festival Yokohama Dance Collection avec son solo Performing Dream.

Depuis elle a collaboré en France avec les Centres Chorégraphiques Nationaux de Caen  (2010, « Waves »), d’Aix-en Provence (2022, création du trio « Dis Cover ») et de Biarritz (2024, création du quatuor « Re Cover »). « Dis Cover » a été coproduit par la Korea National Contemporary Dance Company et « Re Cover » par le Arts Council Korea.

Comme interprète, elle collabore avec le chorégraphe français Luc Petton de 2014 à 2023, notamment pour la pièce « Light Bird » pour quatre danseurs et six grues de Mandchourie.  En 2025 elle participe à la création “Le Tambour du Minotaure” avec la compagnie Les Mondes Transversaux et le Centre Dürrenmatt Neuchâtel (CH).

이선아는 움직임과 음악, 영화, 물질, 그리고 가면의 경계에서 ‘내밀함의 안무’가 지닌 가능성을 탐구한다.

한국예술종합학교 무용원 창작과를 졸업했으며, 2007년 요코하마 댄스 컬렉션에서 솔로 작품 〈Performing Dream〉으로 주한 프랑스 대사관상을 수상했다.

이후 프랑스에서 껑 국립안무센터 (2010,〈Waves>), 엑상프로방스 국립안무센터(2022, 트리오〈Dis Cover〉 초연), 비아리츠 국립안무센터(2024, 콰르텟 〈Re Cover〉초연)와 협업했다. 〈Dis Cover>는 국립현대무용단의 공동제작으로, 〈Re Cover〉는 한국문화예술위원회(Arts Council Korea)의 지원으로 제작되었다.

무용수로는, 2014년부터 2023년까지 프랑스 안무가 뤽 페통(Luc Petton)과 협업했다. 특히 네 명의 무용수와 여섯 마리의 만주두루미가 함께한 작품 〈Light Bird>에 참여했다. 2025년에는 레 몽드 트랑스베르소(Les Mondes Transversaux)와 뒤렌마트 센터 뇌샤텔(스위스)과의 협업으로 신〈Le Tambour du Minotaure〉 창작에 참여했다.

Sun-A Lee explores the pathways of an intimate choreography, situated at the intersection of movement and music, cinema, materials and the mask.

She graduated in choreography from the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts, Seoul). In 2007, she was awarded the French Embassy Prize at the Yokohama Dance Collection competition for her solo work Performing Dream.

Since then, she has collaborated in France with the National Choreographic Centers of Caen (2010, Waves), Aix-en-Provence (2022, creation of the trio Dis Cover), and Biarritz (2024, creation of the quartet Re Cover). Dis Cover was co-produced by the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, and Re Cover by Arts Council Korea.

As a performer, she collaborated with French choreographer Luc Petton from 2014 to 2023, notably for Light Bird, a piece for four dancers and six Manchurian cranes. In 2025, she took part in the creation of Le Tambour du Minotaure with the company Les Mondes Transversaux and the Centre Dürrenmatt Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
